I’m Sune Alexandersen Narud, a magician and entertainer based in Asker, just outside Oslo.
I’ve been performing magic for over 15 years, as much on stage as between the tables, at corporate events, weddings and in living rooms across eastern Norway. Every year I travel to gatherings with other magicians, where we share ideas, watch each other’s shows and polish the craft.
On stage I bring the whole party together, and a few lucky guests join me up front. Between the tables it’s close-up magic: cards, rope and whatever happens to be on the table, half a metre from your face and often in your own hands.
The goal is never for you to wonder how. It’s for you to remember how hard you laughed.
How I work
- Humour first. Magic without laughter is just a puzzle. I want people to laugh at least as much as they gasp.
- Never at anyone’s expense. Everyone who joins in a trick leaves as the hero, not the victim.
